My husband, Tim, graduated from the University of Kentucky. I grew up in Kentucky, but when I attended the University of Georgia I fell in love with football. I can cheer for Kentucky any time except when they play Georgia. We have so much fun watching the yearly Kentucky vs Georgia game. Some years we are able to go back to Athens, but it didn't work out for us this year. There's nothing like the excitement of being between the hedges to cheer on your favorite team.
My son, Scott, drove down to Athens with a friend who graduated from UK. They stayed with some of our friends, and Scott cheered for UGA. Yes, that made me so happy.
Thanks to Scott this week's flag of the week comes from Sanford Stadium.
Positive conversations with old and new friends. I'd love for you to join me on my back porch.
