We visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum on our trip to New York. We spent about four hours touring the museum and remembering Sept. 11, 2001.
There was an air of reverence as we toured the museum. Tears were shed by many, but the feeling of hope and goodness kept you there. Despite the honorific events of that September day, heroes rose up. In one way it seems like America has never been weaker, yet it has never been stronger.
I'd like to share a few pictures from the museum with you today.
September 11, 2001. Never Forget!
Positive conversations with old and new friends. I'd love for you to join me on my back porch.

Wasn't that place amazing? When I went to NYC for conference, I visited the memorial and I won't forget the feeling that hung in the air. As I was walking to it from the subway, I stopped a lady and asked her which direction to go. She told me and then a few minutes later, chased me down to ask me if I lost anyone. The tone and respect the woman had was inspiring. Sadly, I didn't have time to go inside the museum but it will be my first stop if I ever make it back to NY. Thank you for the beautiful pictures. I hope no one ever takes it for granted.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need to visit. I was so impressed with how nice New Yorkers were to a stranger from the South! Thanks for stopping by, LeAnne!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been. Thanks for sharing the pics. A reminder to pray for our country.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Janet. We shouldn't take our country for granted, and we need to pray for the USA. Thanks for stopping by!
